Fire reported at Alberta oil processing plant

A fire broke out Monday at a heavy oil processing plant at Seal Lake, east of Peace River, Alta.
The fire at the facility owned by Murphy Oil started around 2:30 p.m.
Barry Jeffrey, the company's director of investor relations, said the fire was contained to one of the batteries where the oil is treated before it is taken away for refining. No one was hurt.
Murphy Oil confirms that the fire broke out around 2:30 Monday afternoon. (Submitted )A Grande Prairie company specializing in oil fires has been called in to help with firefighting efforts.
A spokesperson with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety said that the area was evacuated.
A cause has not been determined and the extent of the damage is not known.
