Red Deer records 1st homicide of 2013

RCMP in Red Deer are investigating the city's first homicide of the year.
Police were called to a disturbance about 5:35 a.m. on New Year's Day in central Red Deer on the 3700 block of 50th Street where they found a young man, in his teens or early 20s, who had been shot to death.
Police have not released details on the victim or the possible suspects.
