Governor General to present Ralph Klein's Order of Canada in Calgary
Award to be presented to a member of Klein's family

Governor General David Johnston will present the Officer of the Order of Canada insignia to a member of Ralph Klein's family in Calgary on Nov. 13.
Klein was awarded the second highest level of the Order of Canada for his public service as mayor of Calgary from 1980 to 1989 and premier of Alberta from 1992 to 2006.
The presentation will be made at Calgary's historic City Hall.
The ailing former premier is currently in a long-term care facility.
