A growing number of Alberta condominium owners are facing huge repair bills for buildings constructed in the last decade.

Fay Pfleider has learned she may have to pay as much as $40,000 for work to her seven-year-old building in Edmonton's Oliver neighbourhood.

People in the construction industry say this is just the tip of the iceberg, especially for buildings constructed during the Alberta boom.

As the CBC's Marion Warnica reports, this has ignited calls for the province to take action.
