Leduc man killed in overpass crash

A 26-year-old Leduc man was killed in a single vehicle crash last night in Leduc.
The crash occurred about 7:30 on an overpass onto the Q-E 2 highway just south of 50th street.
Around 7:30 p.m., the man's pickup hit a guardrail on an overpass onto the QE II just south of 50th Street.
The truck became airborne before striking a pole and falling over an embankment, witnesses told police.
The man, the lone occupant, died at the scene.
Police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
