Investigators were able to identify the make and model of the vehicle.

In the meantime police were notifying the victim's family of his death.

"We were trying to notify the family of their loss and we came across the the vehicle when we did that," said Sgt. Steve Smith.

The victim's 49-year-old brother is charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
