Police seek suspect in violent sexual assault

Edmonton Police are looking for the public’s help in finding a man accused of a violent sexual assault early Saturday morning.
22-year-old Jason Mark Bard is sought by police in connection with a violent assault on a young woman Saturday morning. (Edmonton Police)They say a 22-year-old man allegedly offered to walk a woman to a bus stop as she was leaving a downtown business.
The man is accused of leading her down a footpath near 95 Street and 105 Ave and assaulting her. People passing by scared the man off and helped the woman.
Police are now searching for Jason Mark Bard.
Bard is described as being 5-11 with dirty blond hair and brown eyes. He has a mole above his upper lip and a scar along the inner eyebrow on his left eye.
