A health alert has been issued for a fruit salad sold at the Southbrook Sobeys store in Edmonton.
The store-made Tropical Fruit Salad, 16 oz size, could contain Daniella Brand mango and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it may be contaminated with salmonella bacteria.
The product was sold only at Southbrook Sobeys and was sold until Wednesday. The store has voluntarily recalled the product.
There have been no reported illnesses.
The recall of Daniella mangoes was initially issued for the western provinces and northern territories. CFIA has now expanded the recall to the entire country.
