Jason Motiuk said his brother was a fun-loving, kind, giving and caring person.

"Every single good quality that a person could have, was him," he said.

Witnesses said several young people attacked Motiuk and another male shortly before 5 a.m. Three knives and a sword were found near the scene.

No charges have been laid in the incident.
