Red Deer RCMP investigate pipe bomb explosion
No one injured in the blast

Red Deer RCMP are investigating after a pipe bomb exploded under an SUV over the weekend.
Police say they found a partially exploded pipe bomb underneath the vehicle last Saturday after being called to a residence on Nielsen Close around 2 p.m. MT.
The SUV suffered minimal damage as a result of the blast and no one was injured.
Neighbours reported hearing the blast and seeing smoke at approximately 3:35 a.m., but no calls were made to police at the time.
The investigation is ongoing.
