The pool at the Mill Woods Recreation Centre will reopen Saturday at 6 a.m., two weeks after plumbing and electrical equipment was damaged by a flood.
All pool amenities will be available except the waves and whirlpool, says the city.
The whirlpool is expected to be back in operation the week of July 30, while the wave machine will be replaced during a planned facility shutdown scheduled to start August 27.
With the reopening of the aquatic facility, the majority of the Mill Woods Recreation Centre is back in full operation, although some meeting rooms will remain unavailable until flood damage is repaired.
Flooding caused by heavy rain on July 12 filled the basement with 1.5 meters or five feet of water.
