The hunt for a man feared to be armed and dangerous ended Thursday morning when RCMP arrested 33-year-old James Daniel Munro in Lloydminster.
Munro is in custody and will appear in court via closed-circuit television Tuesday.
The arrest comes after a standoff in the border town Sunday when police believe a man barricaded himself in a home after a domestic dispute.
