Newly released surveillance video shows slain teacher Jolene Cote in a west Edmonton Walmart store the night before she was found dead at her rural home near Spruce Grove, Alta. last October.
Police released the video on Thursday along with pictures of her engagement and wedding rings and a diamond pendant that have been missing since her death.
Jolene Cote's missing engagement ring (RCMP)"We don't know if she was wearing those pieces of jewelry or not at the time of the homicide," said RCMP Sgt. Tim Taniguchi.
"But we can confirm that they are missing from the family home."
Police said Cote left the Edmonton Soccer Centre at 175415 - 106A Avenue on Oct. 12 after playing in a match at 9:50 p.m.

The store was the last known place Cote was seen before her body was discovered by her husband at 6:05 a.m. the following morning in their rural home, said police.

Items purchased at the store were still in the Jeep.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw Cote or the Jeep between the time she left the store to the time she was found dead.
Police are also looking for three missing pieces of jewelry — a matching engagement ring and wedding band and a necklace.

The necklace is a silver chain with a diamond pendant.
Reward doubled
Cote's family has also doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for the person responsible to $50,000.
"We're just doing whatever we can to hopefully get somebody to come forward with information that will help," Cote's sister Rhonda Berg said.
