18 train cars derail south of Edmonton

Eighteen freight train cars derailed Friday morning near the hamlet of Hay Lakes, about 63 kilometres southeast of Edmonton.
CN Rail says no one was hurt and no hazardous goods were inside the derailed cars.
Four had plastic pellets and eight carried general merchandise. The remaining cars were empty.
The train was on the main CN line that runs from Edmonton to Calgary.
