Red Deer child fatally hurt at home, say police

An infant girl from Red Deer, Alta., who died last weekend from head injuries, has been identified as four-month-old Zaria McCall.
The girl was at home when she received the injuries and was taken to hospital by a parent, police said Wednesday.
Police consider her death as a homicide.
The child was taken to Red Deer hospital around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
She was later taken by air ambulance to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, where she died a short time later.
No charges have been laid.
