NAIT instructor dies in motorcycle crash

A 47-year-old man killed Wednesday night when his motorcycle slammed into a car has been identified as an instructor at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Graham Miller, who taught Digital Media and Information Technology, was driving west on Princess Elizabeth Avenue at about 7:45 p.m, when he hit a left-turning car at 106th Street. He was taken to hospital where he later died.
"We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Graham Miller," reads a statement issued by NAIT.
"This is a great loss to the NAIT community. Graham will be deeply missed."
Traffic investigators were kept busy with a crash on Whitemud Drive Wednesday. CBCThe 41-year-old man driving the car was not seriously hurt.
Police are still trying to figure out what led up to the crash.
Police were also called out to a serious single-vehicle crash on Whitemud Drive, south of 53rd Avenue, early Thursday morning.
A woman is in hospital after losing control of the car, rolling it several times and slamming into a light standard.
