Police probe suspicious death in north end

Police are investigating after a man died suspiciously in Edmonton's north end. (CBC)Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death in northeast Edmonton early Saturday morning.
Police were called to a house at 117th Avenue and 86th Street at 3:30 a.m. about an assault in progress.
When officers arrived they found a 35-year-old aboriginal man dead, said police spokeswoman Clair Seyler.
Police were not saying how the 35-year-old man died. CBCTwo men, aged 52 and 34, were taken in to custody as persons of interest, but they have not been charged, she said.
Seyler did not confirm how the man died. An autopsy is expected to be done in the next few days, she said in written release.
The house, which was known to police, was boarded up and its power shut off at the time of the incident.
