Charges laid in fatal stabbing

A 51-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Edmonton's Cromdale neighbourhood Friday.
Debra Rivera has also been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public in connection with the incident, which police are calling a "domestic-related homicide."
John Gavin Lindsay, 55, died during emergency surgery two hours after police found him suffering from serious stab wounds at a residence near 110th Avenue and 83rd Street.
Police did not say when Rivera would make her first court appearance.
