(CBC)A 30-year-old Edmonton man has been charged with second-degree murder and possession of a weapon in connection with a fatal stabbing at a house party in the city's northeast.
Police said Frank James Jerome, 51, of Edmonton died in hospital after being stabbed at a party at an apartment complex at 136th Avenue and 38th Street just before 2 a.m. MT Friday.
An autopsy conducted Friday afternoon determined the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.
This is Edmonton's ninth homicide of 2010.
