Several gunshots were fired outside Blush Lounge on Calgary Trail early Sunday morning. (CBC)A south Edmonton nightclub that was the scene of a weekend shooting will be closing its doors for the next couple of weeks while the owners and staff decide whether to reopen.

No one was hurt when several shots were fired outside Blush Lounge on Calgary Trail early Sunday morning. But it was the second shooting outside the club this month and the third since February.

"We're taking a step back. We want to talk with the compliance team. We want to talk with our staff. We want to talk as a group and see if this is the best direction for us to go," said club manager Shelby Sawatzky.

"We're going to look at all our options, and if that means shutting down, and doing something different then that's what we're willing to do."

The shots were fired from a vehicle in the parking lot, police said.

The shooting at Blush was one of three violent incidents at Edmonton night spots on the weekend.

Early Monday morning, four people were injured when a car drove into a crowd outside the Gas Pump night club on 114th Street and 102nd Avenue in the city's Oliver neighbourhood.

A 26-year-old man was charged with assault and impaired driving. Police say the incident started as a fight inside the bar.

Earlier on Sunday, two men fired shots inside the Century Casino on Fort Road. No one was injured.
