The three people charged in what police say is Edmonton's first case of human trafficking have all been granted bail.

The two women charged, Qui Wang and Mei Fang Chen, were released Wednesday morning after posting $50,000 bail and agreeing to abide by strict curfews.

They face numerous charges, including human trafficking and living off the avails of prostitution.

Last month, the man charged in the case, Xui Zheng Chen, was let out on $100,000 bail.

On Sept. 5, police and agents from the Canada Border Services Agency raided the Sachi Professional Massage and Spa at 175th Street and 100th Avenue.

Three women, one from China and two from Fiji, had come to Canada in response to an newspaper ad and had been forced to live and work around the clock at the massage parlour, police said.

Because of a publication ban, details of the police investigation and the Crown's case outlined in court, cannot be reported.
