Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach is using popular social media formats to solicit questions from the public as part of a "year-end interview."

"This is an opportunity for all Albertans to ask me what's on their minds. I’m very excited to use some of the social media tools we have available to us to hear directly from Albertans like you," Stelmach said in a news release.

The premier will be accepting questions until Dec. 4 through:

  • His website at premier.alberta.ca.
  • His Twitter account, @premierstelmach.
  • The government's YouTube account, YourAlberta.

Twitter is a popular social website that allows people to publicly post messages to a maximum of 140 characters.

Video clips of Stelmach answering as many questions as possible will be posted in mid-December on the premier's website and YouTube.
