Work on the southern leg of Edmonton's LRT stopped Friday afternoon when a crew uncovered what appeared to be human remains.
Police were called to the construction site near 43rd Avenue and 111th Street. Upon closer inspection, the medical examiner concluded the remains are "historical in nature."
The age and gender of the remains have not been determined yet, but police believe the death is not criminal.
