A two-alarm blaze kept dozens of firefighters busy for hours in south Edmonton Thursday night, eventually destroying two businesses.
The fire started at an auto service shop on 104 St and 65 Avenue around 9 p.m. When crews arrived, the building was completely engulfed in flames.
It took three hours to get the flames under control - by that time, the fire had spread to a neighbouring boat shop.
No one is thought to have been in the building at the time of the fire.
Investigators say it is too early to determine a cause of the fire. They put estimated damages at around $2 million.
