The Edmonton Valley Zoo has three new residents: baby Sichuan takin that were born last month.

Zoo attendant Paul Williams describes what they are and what the births mean to the population of this threatened species.

"There aren't many left in the wild," he said. "In zoos, there's only about 76 individuals so it is important that we have a breeding population like this here and in other zoos."
