A coroner’s inquest in England has found that a Sherwood Park man died of asphyxiation after he fell asleep in a dumpster last year.

Garrett Elsey, 22, had been out drinking with a friend on his first night in Bristol when he crawled into a dumpster.

When the container was emptied into a garbage truck the next morning, Elsey was crushed by a compressor blade.

His body was found at the recycling facility later that day.
