A review of the decision to grant bail to the man accused of shooting two Alberta RCMP officers will be heard on Sept. 13.

Sawyer Robison, 27, is free on $100,000 bail while he awaits trial on two counts of attempted murder in the shootings of Constables Sheldon Shaw and Sydney Gaudette during a standoff near Killam on Feb. 7.

The Crown made the request for the review Tuesday in Wetaskiwin Court of Queen's Bench.

Robison was not in court. His lawyer was represented by an agent who said defence lawyer Brian Beresh plans to argue that the court has no jurisdiction to hear this matter.
