RCMP says visibility in area is zero because of heavy fog

Highway 21 is open again after a 40-vehicle pileup in Strathcona County. 

Strathcona County RCMP and Strathcona County Emergency Services responded to the scene of the accident on Wednesday at Highway 21 near Township Road 510.

Police say the vehicles were towed from the highway and debris has been cleaned up.

Drivers are being advised to be cautious when driving through the area as there are still reports of heavy fog.

RCMP say they have heard reports of some minor injuries.
