Less than a month after Eric Cote died in a pile-up on Highway 2, leaving behind his wife and two young daughters, a stranger is stepping in to help raise money for the struggling family.
Craig Howes came upon Cote badly injured in the family's van and held him as he died.
"I just said, 'Hey if you feel you have to let go, it's going to be okay. Your wife and your daughter are out of harm's way.' And then he let go," Howes told CBC's Marion Warnica.
