Murder charge laid in stabbing in central Edmonton
Travis Untinen, 36, fatally wounded in convenience store parking lot Tuesday
A 25-year-old man faces a second-degree murder charge in the stabbing death of Travis Untinen Tuesday.
Untinen, 36, was stabbed during a fight in a convenience store parking lot at 107th Avenue and 104th Street Tuesday night.
Police were called to a second fatal stabbing just a few hours later at the Travelodge Motel on 45th Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail.
There have been no arrests in that slaying.
