Murder charge laid in slaying of Chelsea Yellowbird

A first-degree murder charge has been laid in the slaying of Chelsea Yellowbird in Hobbema two years ago.

A first-degree murder charge has been laid in the slaying of Chelsea Yellowbird in Hobbema two years ago.

Yellowbird, 23, was killed on Sept. 5, 2011, two months after the fatal shooting of her nephew, Ethan Yellowbird.

A 20-year-old resident of Hobbema was arrested and charged on Wednesday.
