More than one suspect sought in arson condo fire
Police released new images and video Friday of a $6 million fire that destroyed a condominium under construction on March 15.
Investigators determined that the fire near 10th Avenue and 172nd Street in southwest Edmonton was deliberately set but they haven't been able to make any arrests.
Police have now released video taken from the Air One police helicopter early that morning in hopes of generating more tips.
“To date, we've received several sources of investigation comprising of surveillance images and other tips involving persons of interest,” said Staff Sgt. Terry Innes from the arson section of Edmonton Police.
“Based on the course of the investigation thus far, we believe that there's been more than one person involved in this incident.”
Police are encouraging people with any information to come forward.
