Missing Edmonton senior found in Saskatchewan

76-year-old was located by RCMP near Pierce Lake, Saskatchewan, Saturday afternoon.

Edmonton police say RCMP officers in Pierce Lake, Saskatchewan have safely located the 76-year-old man reported missing early Saturday morning.

Edmonton police are asking the public to help locate Gerald Kukurba, who was last seen very early Saturday morning. (EPS)

Gerald Kukurba was last seen driving northbound on 97th Street at 167th Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Earlier on Saturday, police said they believed Kukurba may have become disoriented and was unable to find his way home.

Pierce Lake is about 300 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
