A new case of measles in Edmonton involving another infant brings the number of cases in the city to six.

Visitors to three locations in city's southeast warned to watch for symptoms

A new case of measles in Edmonton involving another infant brings the number of cases in the city to six.

The patient in the latest case involves a child who was too young to have been immunized.

Now health officials are warning people who were in several locations in southeast Edmonton to watch for symptoms.

These locations include:

  • Zion Baptist Church on April 18, 19 and 20th
  •  the Ellerslie Road Mac's Store near 84th Street on April 19 from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Alice Produce Garden on 82nd Street on April 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This case is linked to one announced on April 19 involving a child who was travelling from the Philippines to Vancouver and on to Edmonton.
