A manslaughter charge has been laid in the beating death of a Saskatchewan man in Edmonton last month.

A 26-year-old man was charged in the June 22 death of Michael Bradley Laronde, 33, in the Bonnie Doon neighbourhood.

Laronde was involved in an altercation at a pub at 91st Street and 83rd Avenue.

His body was found at a nearby home. He died of blunt force trauma to the head.
