Man killed in Edmonton 3 car crash

Edmonton police are continuing their investigation into a man's death Wednesday in a multiple vehicle collision in the city's west end.

A man has died after a multi-vehicle crash in the city's west end Thursday.

Officers were called to 129 Avenue and 127 Street just before noon.

Police believe a 2007 Pontiac Montana van was southbound on 127 Street when it went out of control.

It crashed into two other vehicles before hitting a power box at the northeast corner of the intersection.

The driver of the van was taken to hospital where he later died. The passenger in the van had minor injuries.

Nobody in the other vehicles was hurt.

Alcohol is not considered a factor.

This is the city's 15th fatal collision this year.
