A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious condition after a crash in north Edmonton on Sunday.

Police say the man was riding a Can-Am Spyder three-wheeled motorcycle along Castle Downs Road around 5:50 p.m. when he was struck by a Ford F-150 truck turning left onto 139th Avenue.

The man sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The 52-year-old man driving the pickup truck was not hurt.

Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
