Edmonton police charged a man with 35 counts of mischief arising from reports of graffiti over the past three years.
Police had received several complaints about stenciled graffiti vandalism to private and public property, mainly on Whyte Avenue and the surrounding area.
There were reports of at least 35 locations vandalized between June 2009 and July 2012.
After executing search warrants to gather evidence from an art store and private home, police arrested a 31-year-old man.
He was charged with mischief under $5,000 for each of the 35 instances of vandalism. He will appear in court on September 26.
