Man, 70, charged in deaths of son and another man
RCMP have laid charges in the deaths of two men who were found with fatal gunshot wounds in a home near Busby, Alta. on Saturday night.
Alvin Boles, 70, is charged with manslaughter in the death of his son, Kevin Boles, 46 and second-degree murder in the death of Curtis Perrin, 37. Police say Perrin was an acquaintance of the Boles.
RCMP say the men were shot inside the home where Alvin and Kevin Boles live.
He is also charged with use of a firearm during the commission of an offence and careless use of a firearm in his son’s death.
Boles is in custody. He is to appear in Westlock Provincial Court on Jan. 8.
