Man, 63, charged with murder in southeast Edmonton death
A 63-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a woman, 61, in southeast Edmonton.
Staff Sgt. Bill Clark said Friday police were called to a house near 37th Avenue and 13th Street at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday morning where they discovered a body. Early indications in the investigation suggested an incident of domestic violence.
A neighbour said four people lived in the home — a couple in their 60s, a son in his 30s and his young child.
The accused, who will appear in court next week, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
An autopsy will be conducted early next week.
