Man, 18, stabbed to death west of downtown
Edmonton police investigating second suspicious death in area in four days
An autopsy will likely be performed today on what could be Edmonton's latest homicide, say police.
A number of witnesses called police shortly after 1 a.m this morning to report a man laying unconscious and bleeding on the road at 114th Street north of Jasper Avenue.
It appeared the man, 18, was stabbed.
The victim was taken to hospital, but pronounced dead by doctors.
Homicide detectives, now handling the investigation, don't believe the attack was random and are talking with several witnesses.
The death is the second investigated by police in the area in four days.
Curtis Raymond Dugray, 51, was found dead in a park at 99th Avenue and 111th Street Thursday night.
