K-Days kicks off with a parade
K-Days celebrates new name with new tasty treats and sky-high rides
K-Days kicked off its first year under the new moniker today with a parade through downtown Edmonton and CBC’s John Robertson took to the streets to get an insider’s perspective.
Out at Northlands, K-Days is now in full swing, with organizers promising new attractions and tasty treats for Edmontonians.
As CBC’s Silvana Benolich found out, the championship BBQ-ers at Ribfest are serving up all the meat your taste buds can handle.
And while the "K" in K-Days doesn't stand for Klondike, Northlands has also resurrected the Klondike Park this year and will be holding a Klondike Days Promenade on the final Sunday of the fair.
