Hit-and-run sends man to hospital in critical condition

A man is in critical condition after being dragged several metres by a vehicle during a hit-and-run near downtown Monday morning.

A 25-year-old man is in critical condition following a hit-and-run near downtown Edmonton Monday morning.

Police say the man was hit by a white van near 105 Avenue and 102 Street around 1;30 a.m. and dragged several metres.

Investigators are now searching for the driver.

The vehicle was found a few blocks away from the scene.
