'Gun incident' in northwest Edmonton resolved
Police are reopening roads in northwest near 180th Street and 98th Avenue after a ‘gun incident’ Tuesday afternoon.
Officers confirmed there was some sort of gun-related incident, but were unable to provide further details.
A daycare worker in the area told CBC’s Paul Moore that police asked her to keep the children in her care indoors.
Moore also reported seeing a stretcher being taken into a home, but no other information is yet available.
Police did say the situation has been resolved, however.
