The best men and women Mini World Cup teams played for gold at the Edmonton South Soccer Centre Wednesday.

For two weeks the city's best amateur indoor soccer players competed for their heritage countries, but it all came down to the final matches with Bosnia playing England in the men's final and Canada challenging Germany in the women's gold medal game.

CBC's Gareth Hampshire called the play, ably assisted by Min Dhariwal and Lisa MacGregor.

In the end, England held off Bosnia for a 5-4 victory while Germany nipped Canada, by the same 5-4 score.
