Fort McMurray twins died of stab wounds

The twin brothers who were killed in Fort McMurray on the weekend died from multiple stab wounds in what is being investigated as a homicide, RCMP said Friday.

William and James Beck, 17, were found after police and EMS were called around 11:15 p.m. Sunday to an assault complaint in Borealis Park. The teens were later pronounced dead in hospital.

RCMP said when they arrived at the park that night it was clear that a number of people had been involved in an altercation.

No charges have yet been laid in the case.

RCMP said they are following up on a number of leads in the investigation.
