A Fort McMurray man wanted in connection with a home-invasion robbery and two shooting incidents is believed to be in Edmonton, police said Monday.
RCMP have been looking for Scott Brown, 19, since a string of violent acts were reported over the same week in Fort McMurray earlier this month.
They first began investigating two firearms offences. Gunshots had been reported in the street on May 15 and again on the following day.
After further investigation, RCMP became aware of a home invasion that took place on May 14.
People in the home were bound by masked gunmen and robbed of drugs and money, police said.
RCMP recently arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy in connection with the events. Warrants were issued for Brown's arrest.
He's facing a total of 13 charges, including robbery with a firearm, confinement, and eight other firearms-related offences. He's considered armed and dangerous, police said.
