Investigators trying to determine the cause of the fire

Crews are investigating after a garage fire around 9 a.m. Sunday in Edmonton’s north end.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke pouring out of the building near 110th Avenue and 95th Street.

Station Capt. Ken Bowman says investigators are now trying to determine what sparked the flames, as crews were unable to find any utility lines connecting to the building.

"We checked for underground, overhead, nothing... in our opinion, there's no power to it. So it's a little bit odd as to what might have started this," he said.

Bowman said nobody was hurt in the fire.

The total damage to the structure is not yet known.
