Families of Grande Prairie crash victims wait 1 more year for trial

The families of the four Grande Prairie high school football players killed in a car crash will have to wait more than a year for a trial.
A judge will hear the case against accused Brenden Holubowich in December 2013.
The 22-year-old faces four counts of dangerous driving causing death, four counts of impaired driving causing death and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
The four teenagers were killed more than a year ago when they were struck by a pickup truck on the way home from a party outside Grande Prairie.
Walter Borden-Wilkins, 15, Tanner Hildebrand, 15, Matthew Deller, 16, and Vince Stover, 16, played for the Grande Prairie Composite High Warriors.
A fifth youth, Zack Judd, was seriously injured and continues to recover.
The trial will begin on Dec. 2, 2013 and last for five days.
