Edmonton woman charged after leaving child in car
Edmonton police say a woman has been charged after leaving her young child alone in a parked car on Friday afternoon.

Staff Sgt. Jamie Thomas said the boy required medical attention but has since recovered.
The temperature outside was about 25 degrees at the time of the incident but police would not say what the temperature inside the vehicle was or the age of the boy left in the vehicle.
The mother was arrested and charged under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act.
